How We Work
Design Phase
The design process starts with a client meeting to determine how we can transform your outdoor space into a garden that is perfect for you.
Will it be the place where you can relax and read the paper on the weekends; where children can play ball on the lawn; or where families have fun, entertain and exercise? Will the atmosphere be grand and formal; a post-modern statement with bold shapes vibrant colors and dramatic lighting; or a native garden filled with edible plants. Together, we will create the garden of your dreams.
Our projects all begin with thorough site analysis, which gives us the information to draft the schematic designs tailored to your garden. The design phase concludes with a Master Plan and a cost estimate. The purpose of this estimate is to give you a general idea of construction costs for the entire project. This is often used to help you schedule the project in phases that fit your budget.
The design process usually takes 4-8 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
Installation Phase
Once all the plans are done, our crews will install the landscape. I supervise every phase of work on the site — from grading and base preparation for construction to planting and site cleanup. This will ensure an accurate, efficient installation of the design and high-quality workmanship from start to finish.
